Hoboken, NJ (IssuesWire) June 7, 2007 -- Vintage Views Consignment & Consulting, the New York area online auction company best known for their unique on-site service, is pleased to announce their first exclusive eBay Live auction scheduled for June 12th at 2:00 PM ET. "Vintage Views has served professional dealers and individual consignors since 2004 with conventional eBay auctions and GoAntiques listings," says owner Christopher Nowak. "With sales up almost 25% in 2006 and consignments up a whopping 70% year-to-date, the time is ideal to launch a schedule of exclusive live auctions that include all our clients' inventory. Of course, we'll continue to provide on-site service, including digital photography and pickup, packing and shipping after the sale."

This auction includes over 680 lots and features the collection of Welcome Home Antiques. A leading Manhattan gallery on the Upper West Side for over 30 years, Welcome Home Antiques is going mid-century/modern and clearing out their inventory of antique furniture, decorative and fine art. Highlights include a French Art Deco stained glass ceiling, a set of four French art deco stained glass doors, a 19th century portrait by Florentine master Luigi de Buono, and a painted Venetian cabinet-on-stand.

Highlights from other consignors include a fine collection of 19th and 20th century Hungarian paintings, a desk by John Jelliff, a fine collection of antiques from an important Greenwich estate, and a collection of French and Austrian art deco seating, tables, sideboards and lighting. There are over 200 furniture pieces of various periods and styles, including Rococo, Empire, Biedermeier, Victorian, Anglo-Indian, Arts and Crafts, and Mid-Century/Modern. Also included are large assortments of art glass and pottery, bronzes, lighting, silver, estate jewelry, and vintage 1-sheet movie posters.
