Joseph Trindal Joins Covenant Security International's CFATS Consulting Service

Covenant Security International, LLC (Covenant Security), a leading security, training, assessment and risk management company, has named Joseph Trindal as Director of its Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) division.

Chicago, IL (Issues Wire / PRWEB) June 25, 2008 -- Covenant Security International, LLC (Covenant Security), a leading security, training, assessment and risk management company, has named Joseph Trindal as Director of its Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) division. Joseph is responsible for the operational direction and quality assurance of the division, which focuses on assisting clientele with CFATS compliance, security program management, executive protection (EP) and security based assessments. With regard to CFATS, Joseph and the Covenant team assist clients in meeting regulatory requirements of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and continuing to enhance our nation's Critical Infrastructure and Key Resources security in an ever-changing regulatory and security environment.

Joseph joins a highly qualified team of professionals providing intimate and extensive DHS & CFATS experience, knowledge, and training. Prior to joining Covenant, Joseph Trindal served as the Branch Chief of the Inspections & Enforcement Branch, Infrastructure Security Compliance Division of the Office of Infrastructure Protection, DHS, and the Regional Director of the Federal Protective Service for the DHS. He was responsible for standing up the operational implementation of CFATS regulatory regime within DHS.

Joseph also served with distinction for over 20 years with the U.S. Marshals Service including eight years as a Chief Deputy U.S. Marshal and Incident Commander for an Emergency Response Team. Mr. Trindal received a number of awards for exceptional sustained performance, two Director's Special Achievement Awards and a Distinguished Service Award. Mr. Trindal holds undergraduate degrees in Police Science and Criminal Justice as well as nearing completion of master's degree requirements in Public Administration. He is also a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps where he served with distinction in the Military Police field.
