Obama Leads McCain in Negative Sentiment by 2-to-1 on OffsetX.com: Two-thirds of OffsetX Visitors Choose Offset Obama vs. Offset McCain

OffsetX.com (www.offsetX.com), a network of political, sports and social action Web sites, today reported that OffsetObama.com was visited by twice as many viewers as OffsetMcCain.com during the first two weeks of launching OffsetX. In today's negative campaign environment, it is interesting to note that while the daily tracking polls are virtually even or have McCain with only a slight lead over Obama on the popular vote, visitors to OffsetX.com show that negative sentiment against Barack Obama is much stronger than negative opinions of John McCain.
In today's negative campaign environment

Atlanta, GA (Issues Wire / PRWEB) September 8, 2008 -- OffsetX.com, a vertical social network of political, sports and social action Web sites, today reported that OffsetObama.com was visited by twice as many viewers as OffsetMcCain.com during the first two weeks of launching OffsetX. OffsetObama.com and OffsetMcCain.com enable supporters of Senators Barack Obama and John McCain to "offset" the actions and support provided by enthusiasts of opposing political camps through actions of their own, providing an engaging forum to express opinions and take action to effect change.

"In today's negative campaign environment," noted Mike Smith, CEO of OffsetX, "it is interesting to note that while the daily tracking polls are virtually even or have McCain with a slight lead over Obama on the popular vote, visitors to OffsetX.com show that negative sentiment against Barack Obama is much stronger than negative opinions of John McCain. While not purported to be a scientific sampling, we find the 67% majority Offsetting Obama versus 33% Offsetting McCain to be significant."

The initial launch of OffsetX.com is focused primarily on the political polarities that continue to grow between supporters of the two major-party candidates, offering ardent political enthusiasts and first-time voters alike the ability to keep up with the latest news affecting the presidential race, as well as provide opportunities for them to voice their opinions for and against their choices of candidates. OffsetX.com Web sites are characterized by their rich interactive content and the ability of OffsetX members to participate in and contribute to that shared content.

The political-oriented marketing launch of the OffsetX.com will be followed quickly by a family of sports-based OffsetX Web sites, first concentrating heavily on the passionate college football fan base. Fans of virtually any major college football team will be able to participate in and contribute to offsetting traditional and emerging rivalries. An easy-to-use template will enable fans of any level or sport to create and contribute to their own OffsetX rivalries. Other rivalries and corresponding Offset actions will be developed in the environmental, humanities, entertainment and business arenas.

OffsetX.com is not connected to, nor supported by, any political party or political organization of any kind, and does not support nor endorse the campaign of any candidate for public office.

About OffsetX, LLC:
