Cogent Systems Signs Contract with Intercede
Cogent Systems becomes an Intercede solutions partner. Together, Cogent and Intercede have successfully delivered FIPS 201 PIV cards to the Environmental Protection Agency's EPASS program.
London, UK (Issues Wire / PRWEB) November 25, 2008 -- Intercede (AIM:IGP) announces that Cogent Systems (Nasdaq:COGT), a leading biometric systems provider, has become an Intercede Solutions Partner. Under the terms of this agreement, Cogent will resell the Intercede MyID® Identity and Credential Management System to its customers as part of the Cogent PIV (Personal Identity Verification) Identity Management Solution.
Cogent staff have previously collaborated with Intercede to successfully deliver FIPS 201 PIV cards as part of the Environmental Protection Agency's EPASS program and, as a result, they already have technical resources trained in the deployment and support of MyID powered solutions.
