Gov. Sarah Palin's Track Record Provides Insight Into Her Potential White House Influence

Her proposed state budget for FY 2009 included $50 million in information technology (IT) initiatives

Reston, VA (Issues Wire / Vocus) September 11, 2008 -- Governor Sarah Palin's (R-AK) background in state and local government could come to the forefront as part of a McCain administration, according to Chris Dixon, manager, state & local market analysis at INPUT, the authority on government business. In FY 2008, Alaska spent $69.8 million on technology and telecommunications, with IT services and IT consulting comprising over 41% of the total spending.
