New Online Tools for Human Resource Metrics, Benchmarking and Scorecards

The HR Metrics Center is the first web site to provide human resource professionals with the ability to build metrics online and benchmark against a dynamic online survey.
The HR Metrics Center provides a powerful tool to the HR community. The Center was designed with the assistance of human resource professionals with the goal of helping the profession grow as strategic business partners in their organizations.

Toledo, OH (Issues Wire / PRWEB) July 16, 2008 -- The HR Metrics Center, a new on-line business service for human resource professionals launched today. The web site provides the first on-line capability for human resource professionals to build HR or human capital metrics for their organizations. The HR Metrics Center, found at http://www.hrmetricscenter.com includes a dynamic on-line survey providing the ability for member organizations to benchmark their HR metrics against industry averages.

The foundation of the site is MetricsPro, a powerful, easy to use on-line tool that brings members through a step-by-step process to build and report on over 40 important HR metrics. In addition, members have access to BenchmarkPro, which includes the HR Metrics Center's dynamic HR survey results. BenchmarkPro provides the most powerful on-line tool available for an HR professional to compare their organization's HR metrics to industry averages. Members also have access to ScorecardPro, a tool used to create HR scorecards.

The use of metrics and benchmarking in human resources is expected to grow tremendously in the coming years. A recent Conference Board survey indicated that of 104 surveyed human resources executives at medium to large companies, only 12 percent make use of people measures to meet their strategic targets. However, over the next three years, 84 percent of that same group expects to increase the use of human capital measurements.
