Ciaffoni comes to Sciele from Schering Plough's Kenilworth NJ headquarters where he served as National Vice President.

The search for Sciele was led by CarterBaldwin founding partner Jennifer Poole Sobocinski, who successfully completed the critical search in less than 90 days. Ciaffoni is the third addition to Sciele's leadership team provided by CarterBaldwin executive search in Atlanta, which also placed the company's current Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Business Development.
Sobocinski is one of the CarterBaldwin partners who specializes in Board of Director and C-level placements for the medical, bio-tech and pharmaceutical industries. Ciaffoni's move to Atlanta will be a homecoming of sorts. Before joining Schering Plough in 2004 he was headquartered in Atlanta while serving as Southeast Area Vice President for Sanofi-Synthelabo, Inc.
